1. Prefer for colleges (if u get top and medium marks)rather than course.

2. If you have some courses in good colleges give preference in taking that rather than taking the ECE in lower colleges, (if you are really VERY much interested in that course means select that lower college, because in most cases it is selected because of its hype of ECE, CSE…)

3. Be VERY CAREFUL in choosing the colleges, because there are colleges with confusing names,,, (be clear in engineering college or college of technology,etc)

4. Get some idea about which college probably you can get based on previous year data(we cannot say its 100% sure)

5. Prepare a list of 10 colleges/courses based on current day status in the day before you attend counseling.

6. Dont get tensed now, because whatever college you get ,let it will be happen,, so plan but dont get panic from now itself.

Many peoples dont select IT department even it is available in the top colleges,,,.

It is a pathetic thing that the IT is available in top colleges but peoples select the ECE and other dept(incl. CSE), in bottom colleges.,

The reason(logic behind) is people thought tat IT (sector) down they dont take IT department. But they not aware of the thing that both IT and CSE dept are atmost same…,

and also most of the students of departments like ECE, EEE, and even Mech(they ve some core companies) goes to the software job,,,,… So they are also suffer by this software down!.. Some may argue mech, ece guys may get govt. jobs but how many get govt. jobs.,,,

ECE guys also going to search for a software jobs.,,

Dont think IT dept is bad,,,,.

IF someone says CSE is better now and IT dept is worst , believe he s the real stupid,,,,

Believe the thing a department s worthier is depends first

1)the college u r selected.

2) the subject knowledge u have(after u finish the degree)(if u are joined in a bottem level college)

and also believe IT(software) sector is only down and NOT IT Department

Sources say software sector may reaches peak after 3 years,,, keep in mind tat too,,,,
